Cum Laude Award

The Cum Laude award is very prestigious and is given to organizations for conduct of an Outstanding Program of Safety Activity for its members.  We are proud to have been the recipient for many years. 

Safety Professional of the Year

This award is given to a member that exhibits commitment, dedication and enthusiasm for the council, for safety and for the industry as a whole.  This year we recognize Joyce Ryel of Complete Production. 

Summit Award

The OSMC Summit award is presented annually to the individual or company who has made significant contributions to improve the safety of the trucking industry within the State of Oklahoma.

 

Professional Driver of the Year

Awarded to Oklahoma’s top driver for safe miles, years in industry, professional attitude, participation in safety activities and exceptional acts.  This years recipient is Mr. Tom Lear of Wal-Mart. Mr. Lear has over 3 million safe miles. 

TDC Grand Champion

TDC Rookie of the Year

This years grand champion designation goes to Mr. Randy Gregory of UPS.  Mr. Gregory is a long time competitor and has won many times.  As a class winner, Mr. Gregory will compete at Nationals this year in Pittsburgh. 

The Rookie of the Year award is presented to the highest scoring rookie in the competition.  This year’s winner is Larry Kendall from FedEx Express.
